Last night the CCA School Board of Education appointed Abdouramane Bila to fill the at-large school board vacancy. There were two applicants at the meeting to answer board member questions prior to the board voting. Two other applicants withdrew their application. Abdouramane replaces Kathy Swenka after her resignation last month.
The at-large seat will be up for re-election in November along with three other board seats.
