The CCA esports Rocket League team went to Marshalltown to compete in the IAHSEA state tournament February 22, 2024. Rocket League is a video game that is essentially soccer with flying cars. CCA competed against:

 

Liberty High School, winning 3-0 in game count (play a best of 5 total games of Rocket League per series)

 

Waukee NW High School, winning 3-1

 

And then in the Grand Finals, played Waterloo East High, winning 3-2

 

This caps off a fully undefeated season for:
