Facilities Public Input Session January 7 at 6:00 PM

Clear Creek Amana Administration Review Future Facility Plans for the District and Request Public Input On January 7, 2020 For Elementary Facilities

Oxford (IA) - Clear Creek Amana officials have spent the last few months reviewing and updating the district’s long-term facilities plan. The most immediate concern is addressing aggressive elementary growth on the east side of the district and how to accommodate for it. Future forecasts show Tiffin Elementary at full capacity by 2022-2023 and North Bend Elementary by 2023-2024, bringing total district enrollment to 3380. Current CCA enrollment is 2750.

The district is asking for public input regarding elementary growth and to review proposed scenarios. The public input session will be held at the Clear Creek Amana Middle School at 6:00 PM, January 7, 2020.  Facilitating the public forum will be Rob Schwartz with RSP Consultants along with Tim Oswald with Piper Jaffray. Building officials will also be present to answer questions.

Along with addressing elementary space needs, increasing space for fine arts and career and technical at the high school will also be discussed.
